Product Designer


BibeCoffee is a Start-Up Venture based in UK and GR. We created an IoT real time monitoring solution that transforms every professional coffee machine to a smart connected terminal, minimising Revenue Loss and safeguarding Brand Quality Image. With an innovative hardware device and easy to use platform, BibeCoffee comes to streamline the way Coffee Distributors, Makers and Chains work and operate; guaranteeing that high quality coffee is always served without compromises.

We are looking for a Product Designer to help with the delivery of our solution by refining existing applications and designing new features. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean design, a knack for understanding user feedback and turning it into functional user interfaces and possess great time management skills.

Main Responsibilities

As our Product designer, you should be able to:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product management and engineering teams to help define and implement innovative solutions for our applications
  • Gather, evaluate and help refine user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, developers and product managers
  • Create UX Deliverables such as user flows/wireflows, user personas and journeys, site maps and wireframes to effectively communicate user/design needs
  • Execute all design stages from lo-fi/hi-fi wireframes to final hand-off of UI screens and assets for development
  • Present and defend designs to stakeholders, engineers and product managers
  • Collaborate closely with engineers during product development to translate design screens and prototypes to polished, functional, user-friendly products
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of professional experience of as a Product designer or similar role
  • Existing portfolio of design projects
  • Knowledge of design software and wire-framing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, Figma)
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Ability to function with a certain degree of autonomy and help set priorities for the team
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Team spirit & strong communication skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written/verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B platforms
  • Data Visualization skills
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with creating, maintaining and updating Design Systems and Pattern Libraries
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript for rapid prototyping
