We are a company in the IoT space formed by an experienced team with a strong corporate background and we are looking to add in our core team a DevOps Engineer who will help with the delivery of our solution.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer that will be able to support existing applications as well as assisting us in evolving our infrastructure and CI/CD procedures. The main scope of work will include the implementation and maintenance of all the procedures that will permit us to deliver code to production in a safe and fast way. Therefore, it’s essential that you have an extensive experience in designing and implementing such procedures.
Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and optimize cloud operations processes in collaboration with the Database and Software Engineers
- Design, document, develop, test, and deploy automation tools
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues in CI/CD procedures
- Measure, optimize, and tune system performance and ensuring that systems run in a reliable and stable manner.
- Assist in troubleshooting, and resolving issues in cloud environments
Education and Experience
- 2+ years in a DevOps related role
- Proficiency with Linux
- At least two years of working experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS)
- Experience with Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Compose/Swarm)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container repositories, artifacts repositories
- Previous experience with PostgreSQL on Kubernetes will be considered as a plus
- Experience with Infrastructure As Code tools (Terraform)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
