Agile Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Agile Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful execution of projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. As an Agile Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, fostering agile principles, and delivering high-quality results on time and within scope. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that projects are effectively managed, and our teams are empowered to reach their full potential.

 

Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • • Agile Leadership: Act as a champion of agile methodologies, promoting and ensuring adherence to agile principles and values across the project team. Guide and support teams in adopting and implementing appropriate agile practices and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria. Develop detailed project plans, including sprint plans, resource allocation, timelines, and budget estimates. Ensure that project plans are flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
  • • Team Empowerment: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, providing them with clear goals, roles, and responsibilities. Create an environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Remove impediments that hinder team progress.
  • • Communication: Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and management. Provide regular project updates, reports, and metrics to keep stakeholders informed about project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Proactively develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
  • • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by conducting retrospectives, analyzing metrics, and seeking feedback from team members. Use insights gained to refine processes and optimize team performance.
  • • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are managed, and their needs are met. Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
  • • Adaptability: Embrace change and navigate ambiguity effectively. Guide the team in responding to evolving project requirements and priorities while maintaining focus on the end goals.
  • • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including user stories, backlog, project charters, and other relevant artifacts.

 

Experience

  • • Proven experience (2+ years) as an Agile Project Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
  • • In-depth understanding of various agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and their practical implementation.
  • • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
  • • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • • Experience in software development or technology projects is preferred.
