Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (Outbound) to drive our lead generation efforts across the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have excellent English skills, proven cold-calling experience, and preferably a background in call center environments dealing with UK customers. You will play a key role in identifying prospects, initiating conversations, and setting qualified meetings for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities in the UK and Ireland.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities in the CRM system.
- Research and identify key players, decision-makers, and new business opportunities within the target market.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for outreach volume, meetings booked, and lead quality.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written English skills (native-level or C2 proficiency).
- Proven experience in outbound cold calling, preferably targeting the UK market.
- Previous work experience in a call center environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to quickly understand and present technology solutions to prospects.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
